Anamnesis, in a medical context, refers to the process of gathering a patient's medical history. This includes information about past illnesses, surgeries, medications, allergies, family health history, lifestyle, and other factors that can influence a patient's health. The purpose of anamnesis is to provide healthcare providers with a comprehensive understanding of a patient's health background to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and care planning.

Purpose and Goals

Education and Training: Anamnesis groups provide structured training for medical students and professionals in the art of taking comprehensive medical histories. This is essential for accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

Skill Development: They focus on developing both the technical and interpersonal skills required for effective anamnesis, including communication, empathy, and attention to detail.

Networking and Support: These groups create a community where participants can share experiences, challenges, and best practices related to anamnesis.

 Activities

Workshops and Seminars: Regularly organized events where participants can practice and refine their anamnesis skills through role-playing, case studies, and interactive sessions.

Regional and National Meetings: Opportunities for members from different locations to meet, share knowledge, and discuss advancements in the field.

 Structure

Local Groups: These are often based in universities or medical schools, where students and professionals can participate in regular meetings and activities.

Regional Projects: Initiatives that bring together participants from various local groups to collaborate on larger projects or attend specialized training sessions.

Online Resources: Websites and online platforms provide information, training materials, and updates on upcoming events and projects.

Dear Anamnesis Participants!

The time has finally come: we warmly invite you to the tutor training from March 22 to March 28, 2009, in Berlin!

To make the most of our time, we have planned Sunday, March 22, and Saturday, March 28, as travel days. We ask that everyone arrives in Berlin on Sunday afternoon between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. We will inform you as soon as possible about the exact location where we will meet you. On Saturday, the training will conclude with a group breakfast from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The training itself will take place from Monday to Friday at the Charité, Campus Mitte.

We will offer two groups of 10 participants each, giving us a total of 20 spots.

Each group will be supervised by two trainers. One pair of trainers will be the Berlin anamnesis tutors, and we still need another pair of trainers for the other group.
